About Us

Godalming School of Dance has been long established in the Godalming, Guildford and Milford areas teaching Classical Ballet, Tap Dance, Modern Dance and Musical Theatre.

Many former pupils have gone on to professional career in dance, both performing and teaching. We believe every child should have the opportunity to dance. We actively encourage dance for all, and aspire to fulfill everyone’s potential in a positive, fun and happy environment. Learning to dance builds confidence and self-esteem whilst encouraging an appreciation of music. Whether vocational or recreational, the disciplines encouraged contribute to life skills.

The School maintains an excellent record of exam results with most gaining Merit or Distinction. Our most gifted students are invited to dance at competition level.

All our teachers are fully qualified and CRB checked.
